The daily shuttle service between San Juan County and Wasatch Front Line has returned to the area.

Salt Lake Express, the largest transportation company in the mountain region, has added a new route between Blanding and Salt Lake City.

The service includes daily trips in two directions, stopping at Brandin, Monticello, Moab, Green River, Spanish Fork, Orem, Salt Lake International Airport and Salt Lake City.

The shuttle bus departs from Branding at 3:30 and 9:40 a.m. and arrives in Salt Lake City before 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Similarly, the shuttle departs from Salt Lake City at 10:10 am and 4:25 pm daily, and arrives in Branding at 4:30 pm and 10:45 pm

There is currently no regular bus service directly to towns along the metropolis.

Salt Lake Express currently operates routes in Utah, Nevada, Idaho, Wyoming and Montana, as well as connecting with other airlines (including Greyhound and Trailways).

In the Salt Lake City Express system, passengers can travel to many places, such as Salt Lake City, Las Vegas, Reno, Boise, Logan, Rexburg and Montana.

They provide routes to many holiday destinations, including Moab, Jackson, Sun Valley, West Yellowstone, Park City, St. George, Las Vegas and Reno.

The shuttle service started operating in 1994 and now also starts daily service between Wiener and Salt Lake City. The new route includes stops at Heber City, Duchesne, Roosevelt and Vernal.

Kathy Pope, Director of Regional Relations, said that Salt Lake Express has signed a service contract with the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) for a three-year contract with an option to extend for another two years.

"We were pleasantly surprised by the response to the new service in southeastern Utah," Pope said.
